STUFF
If you have read any of this “STUFF”, by now you know, I’m a carpenter by trade, I make photographs, and I didn’t spend a whole lot of time in school. I’ve wandered around a lot living in Nashville, Memphis, Albq., And los Angeles. As a union carpenter I’ve worked in San Francisco, Portland, Spokane, Seattle, Anchorage, Tucson, St. Louis, Phila. Chicago, San Diego, and Los Angeles. In addition to my career with the building trades, I’ve worked as a Crate Builder, Packer, and Handler of Art. I guess it was back in the early eighties, hanging out at the Zero, an infamous gallery in “Pre Olympic Los Angeles” that John, the director advised me “get involved in the Art World, you’ll have a ball”. School didn’t work out too well for me, it took two years to get through the ninth grade, and by early spring of my tenth year I was done. My cousin Gus was at Georgetown so I headed south to D.C. and looked him up. We hung out some, but he was busy with school, and I was thinking about California. In retrospect, I could of used a bit more chemistry. -_-_-_-_-
