Health Insurance Brain Shower!

All I hear about is higher Taxes, that nobody wants them, doesn’t anyone realize that Insurance Premiums are a Tax. The difference is, your Health Insurance Premium fuels the machine. In my entire career, every hour I have worked, I have payed into a Health and Welfare Trust. Thankfully I have been healthy, not many trips to a Doctor. This is a lot of money over the years, it does nothing for me at this time. I have no Medical, I haven’t worked in ten months, my coverage has expired. I wonder how much money I have payed into this. With interest, over the years, I am sure it would be a healthy amount. I think it might have been better to have payed a Health Tax, instead of paying into the Trust, paying into an account that I could access for Future Health Needs. The Mantra is we don’t want bigger Government, instead we are content with growing, these Giant Health Insurance Conglomerates, these Corporations are not about Peoples Health, they are about profits. I’ll mention United Health again, their profits for the quarter ending in June were $859,000,000,000. I heard that 60% of the cost of running a Doctors Office, was dealing with Insurance Issues. These Insurance Companies have Hijacked the Medical Profession. It’s as if the Doctor has to check with the Insurance Company, before he can give his patent the OK to fart. It used to be Medical Insurance covered Major Medical, if you were sick, you went to your Doctor and you payed for his services. You counted on your Doctor for decisions, that today, under this current system, are out of his control. If you are healthy, you are able to be Insured, these Companies are more than happy to take your money, if you have some problems, there not going to touch you. That all makes sense, Insurance Companies are all about collecting money, not paying it out. These guys have quite a cash cow, of course they will be kicking and screaming, at any hint of slaughtering this cow. What I see going on, is all their influence being put into play, after all, this business provides for them the good life. These Companies today, are spending more money than they really want to, but don’t be fooled, it is not being used for the Health of their Clients. There are Advertising Agencies on the payroll, putting their spin on the issues, an Army of Lobbyists has been unleashed on the Legislature, Holding Hostage, our Senators and Congressmen.
